AVX-512

An optional x86-64 extension with 512-bit vector instructions; some chips have it and others don't.

AVX-512 is a family of x86-64 instruction set extensions (Foundation plus subsets such as BW, DQ, VL, VNNI) that adds 32 512-bit zmm registers, eight opmask registers k0-k7 and EVEX-encoded instructions with per-lane masking; availability varies by vendor and generation (AMD Zen 4/5 and Intel server chips include it; Intel's current client chips do not).
