Free public beta until December 4, 2026: every course is open, no card needed. After that, the first chapter of each course stays free and full access is a one-time $39 ($19 for up to 100 founding members chosen for helpful feedback). Your progress is kept. How the beta works

endianness

The order in which a multi-byte value's bytes are stored in memory.

Endianness is the byte order of a multi-byte value in memory; little-endian stores the least significant byte at the lowest address, big-endian the most significant.

Examples

  • The 4-byte value 0x12345678 is stored as 78 56 34 12 on a little-endian machine and as 12 34 56 78 on a big-endian one.
