performance core
A large, fast core on a chip that mixes two kinds of core; it runs demanding work quickly but uses more power.
A performance core (P-core) is the wide, deeply out-of-order, high-frequency core type of a heterogeneous processor (Intel since Alder Lake, Apple M-series, Arm big cores); it implements the same ISA as the chip's efficiency cores.
