sanitizer

A compiler option that adds run-time checks to your program so undefined behaviour stops it with a report instead of silently misbehaving.

Sanitizers (-fsanitize=undefined for UBSan, -fsanitize=address for AddressSanitizer) instrument the build to detect undefined behaviour or invalid memory accesses at run time; they are for testing builds, not release builds.
