Free public beta until December 4, 2026: every course is open, no card needed. After that, the first chapter of each course stays free and full access is a one-time $39 ($19 for up to 100 founding members chosen for helpful feedback). Your progress is kept. How the beta works

odd function

A function whose graph has pinwheel symmetry through the origin — f(-x)=-f(x).

A function f is odd if f(-x)=-f(x) for every x in its domain, so its graph is symmetric about the origin — a 180° rotation maps it onto itself. Sums of only-odd-power terms are odd.

Examples

  • f(x)=x^3 is odd — f(-2)=-8=-f(2).
