RPATH
A search path stored inside a binary telling the loader where to find its shared libraries.
RPATH (and the newer RUNPATH) embeds directories such as $ORIGIN/../lib in an executable on Linux; on macOS the equivalent is @rpath with install names. On Windows the loader instead looks next to the .exe and on PATH.
