database provider

The package that lets EF Core talk to one kind of database, such as SQLite or SQL Server.

An EF Core database provider translates queries and commands for a specific database engine (SQL Server, PostgreSQL via Npgsql, SQLite, MySQL, Cosmos DB, MongoDB).
