dotnet CLI

The dotnet command you type in a terminal to create, build, run, test, and publish.

The .NET command-line interface is the dotnet driver program; its subcommands (new, build, run, test, publish, pack, …) invoke the SDK's tools.

Examples

  • dotnet new console -o Tips, dotnet build and dotnet run are all dotnet CLI commands.
