IEnumerable<T>

The interface for anything you can loop over with foreach.

IEnumerable exposes GetEnumerator(), producing a sequence that foreach and LINQ consume.

Examples

  • IEnumerable<string> names = new List<string> { "Ana" }; can be walked with foreach, but has no Add.
