Free public beta until December 4, 2026: every course is open, no card needed. After that, the first chapter of each course stays free and full access is a one-time $39 ($19 for up to 100 founding members chosen for helpful feedback). Your progress is kept. How the beta works

immutable collection

A collection that can't be changed; "changes" produce a new one.

System.Collections.Immutable types (ImmutableList, ImmutableDictionary, …) return new instances from every modifying operation; frozen collections (FrozenSet, FrozenDictionary) are read-only and optimized for fast lookups.

Examples

  • var more = prices.Add(4.99m); on an ImmutableList<decimal> leaves prices as it was and returns a new list.
