LINQ

C#'s built-in way to filter, sort, group and total any collection.

LINQ is a set of standard query operators (extension methods on IEnumerable and IQueryable) plus query-expression syntax that the compiler translates into calls to them.

Examples

  • orders.Where(o => o.Paid).Sum(o => o.Total) totals the paid orders in one line.
