list pattern

A pattern that matches a sequence's elements, like [1, .., 9].

A list pattern matches arrays and lists element by element; a slice pattern .. matches zero or more elements.

Examples

  • words is ["add", var item] matches a two-word command starting with "add" and names the second word item.
