Free public beta until December 4, 2026: every course is open, no card needed. After that, the first chapter of each course stays free and full access is a one-time $39 ($19 for up to 100 founding members chosen for helpful feedback). Your progress is kept. How the beta works

property

A member that looks like a field but runs code when read or written.

A property exposes get and/or set (or init) accessors; auto-properties have a compiler-generated backing field, which the field keyword can refer to (C# 14).

Examples

  • public string Name { get; set; } = ""; looks like a field from outside, but reading and writing it run code.
