single-file app

An app published as one executable file instead of a folder of files.

PublishSingleFile bundles an app's assemblies (and, if self-contained, the runtime) into one executable for a given RID.

Examples

  • dotnet publish -r win-x64 -p:PublishSingleFile=true produces one .exe to copy.
