status code

The three-digit number in a response saying how the request went, like 200 or 404.

An HTTP status code classifies the response: 1xx informational, 2xx success, 3xx redirection, 4xx client error, 5xx server error.

Examples

  • 200 OK, 201 Created, 400 Bad Request, 404 Not Found, 500 Internal Server Error.
