StringBuilder

A changeable text buffer for building a string in many steps.

System.Text.StringBuilder is a mutable character buffer whose Append methods avoid copying the whole string on each change.

Examples

  • var sb = new StringBuilder(); then sb.Append("Total: ").Append(12); and sb.ToString() gives "Total: 12".
