Rechargeable lithium cells.

Lithium-ion and lithium-polymer (LiPo) cells are rechargeable cells of about 3.7 V nominal, 4.2 V full and about 3.0 V empty. They need a dedicated CC/CV charger and protection against over-charge, over-discharge and short circuit.
