logic-level MOSFET

A MOSFET that turns fully on from a 3.3 V or 5 V pin.

A logic-level MOSFET has R_DS(on) specified at a gate voltage of 4.5 V or lower (2.5 V for 3.3 V logic), so a GPIO pin can drive it fully on.
