espefuse

Espressif's tool that reads (summary) and burns eFuses; --virt simulates a chip.

espefuse (espefuse.py) is Espressif's tool to read, burn and protect eFuses; its summary command is read-only, burn commands are irreversible, and --virt runs against a simulated chip.

Examples

  • espefuse --port /dev/cu.usbmodem1101 summary reads a board's eFuses, including SPI_BOOT_CRYPT_CNT, without changing anything.

  • espefuse's burn commands are irreversible; --virt simulates a chip so you can rehearse them safely.
