peripheral access crate

A crate generated from a chip's register description, giving typed access to every register.

A peripheral access crate is generated (by svd2rust) from the vendor's SVD file and exposes each peripheral's registers and fields as typed, mostly unsafe-free accessors.

Examples

  • The esp32c6 0.22.0 crate is the ESP32-C6's PAC: gpio.out_w1ts().write(|w| unsafe { w.bits(1 << 8) }) sets GPIO8 high by writing a register directly.

  • A PAC is generated by svd2rust from the chip's register description, so every register and field has a typed name.
