Boolean interpretation
The reading on which "all" and "no" statements make no claim that anything exists.
The Boolean (modern) interpretation of categorical statements gives existential import only to particular statements (I and O). Universal statements (A and E) are read as saying that certain regions are empty, so they can be true about an empty class.
Examples
On the Boolean reading, "All square circles are round" is true, because there are no square circles.
