Asking the compiler to write standard behavior for a type.

#[derive(Debug, Clone, PartialEq)] generates standard trait implementations for a type.

Examples

  • #[derive(Debug, Clone, PartialEq)] on Book lets you print it with {:?}, copy it with .clone() and compare two books with ==.
