Code blocks in /// or //! comments are compiled and run as separate programs by cargo test (Doc-tests).

Examples

  • A fenced block in late_fee's /// comment holding assert_eq!(fines::late_fee(3), 75); runs under cargo test in the Doc-tests fines part.
