Free public beta until December 4, 2026: every course is open, no card needed. After that, the first chapter of each course stays free and full access is a one-time $39 ($19 for up to 100 founding members chosen for helpful feedback). Your progress is kept. How the beta works

IP address

The number that identifies a machine on a network.

An IP address (IPv4 like 127.0.0.1, or IPv6 like ::1) names a network interface; std::net::IpAddr represents either.

Examples

  • "127.0.0.1".parse::<IpAddr>() gives an address whose is_loopback() is true; "192.168.1.300".parse::<IpAddr>() is an Err, since 300 is out of range.
