Free public beta until December 4, 2026: every course is open, no card needed. After that, the first chapter of each course stays free and full access is a one-time $39 ($19 for up to 100 founding members chosen for helpful feedback). Your progress is kept. How the beta works

turbofish

The ::<Type> that names a type after a name, as in parse::().

The turbofish :: supplies generic type arguments at a call site, as in "42".parse::().

Examples

  • "2.5".parse::<f64>() names the target type with ::<f64>; let x: f64 = "2.5".parse().unwrap(); says the same through an annotation.
