undefined behavior
Code the standard puts no requirements on: anything may happen.
Undefined behavior (UB) results from breaking certain rules, such as reading out of bounds, signed overflow, or using a dangling pointer. The program may crash, print nonsense, or appear to work, and the optimizer may assume UB never happens.
