Central package management (ManagePackageVersionsCentrally) moves versions to PackageVersion items in Directory.Packages.props, leaving PackageReference items versionless.

Examples

  • Directory.Packages.props holds <PackageVersion Include="Serilog" Version="4.2.0" />, and each project writes <PackageReference Include="Serilog" /> with no version.
