Directory.Build.props

A file whose settings apply to every project in the folders below it.

Directory.Build.props (imported early) and Directory.Build.targets (imported late) are picked up automatically by every project beneath them, centralizing shared build settings.

Examples

  • A Directory.Build.props at the repository root holding <Nullable>enable</Nullable> turns nullable warnings on in every project below it.
