A text file of rows, with the values in each row separated by commas.

Comma-separated values is a plain-text table format (RFC 4180) in which fields containing commas, quotes or line breaks are enclosed in double quotes.

Examples

  • Ana,"Lisbon, PT",42 is one row of three values; the quotes keep the comma inside the city.
