file-scoped namespace

A namespace declaration ending in a semicolon that covers the whole file.

A file-scoped namespace declaration (namespace App;) applies to every type in the file without an enclosing block.

Examples

  • namespace Shop.Orders; at the top of a file puts everything below it in Shop.Orders, with no braces.
