A query call that does its work right away and gives you the answer.

Operators that return a scalar or a materialized collection (Count, Sum, First, ToList, ToArray, ToDictionary) enumerate the source when called.

Examples

  • prices.Count(), prices.Sum() and prices.ToList() each run the query on the spot.
