lock file

A file recording the exact package versions used, so every build gets the same ones.

packages.lock.json (RestorePackagesWithLockFile) records the resolved graph with content hashes; locked-mode restore fails if the graph would change.

Examples

  • packages.lock.json, turned on with <RestorePackagesWithLockFile>true</RestorePackagesWithLockFile>.
