build matrix
Running one CI job once per value of a parameter, such as each board, in parallel.
A build matrix expands one CI job into parallel jobs, one per combination of listed values, such as each target board.
Examples
The workflow's
buildjob hasboard: [esp32-s3, esp32-c6], so it runs twice in parallel, once per board.Adding a third board to the matrix adds a third parallel build job without copying any steps.
