disjunction introduction
From A, write A ∨ B for any B.
Disjunction introduction (∨I) lets you write A ∨ B or B ∨ A from an available line A, where B may be any sentence. It is addition in the proof system.
Examples
From 1 P, write 2 P ∨ R (∨I 1).
