truth table
A table listing a sentence's truth value on every possible valuation.
A truth table has one row per valuation of the sentence letters involved (2ⁿ rows for n letters) and a column for each sentence or subsentence, giving its truth value on that row.
Examples
A truth table for P ∨ Q has four rows, and the disjunction is false on exactly one of them.
