vector-length agnostic
Written so that it works whatever the hardware's vector width is, instead of assuming 4 or 8 lanes.
Vector-length-agnostic code queries or is told the vector length at run time (SVE cntw/whilelo, RVV vsetvli) and uses predicates or a shortened final pass for the tail, so one binary runs correctly at every implemented width with no separate remainder loop.
