Free public beta until December 4, 2026: every course is open, no card needed. After that, the first chapter of each course stays free and full access is a one-time $39 ($19 for up to 100 founding members chosen for helpful feedback). Your progress is kept. How the beta works

captive portal

A network that sends every request to a login page until you sign in.

A captive portal intercepts a newly joined client's traffic and redirects it to a sign-in page, so a device can have Wi-Fi and an address yet reach nothing it asks for.

Examples

  • During SoftAP setup the board at 192.168.4.1 answers every web request with its setup form, so the phone pops the form open as a captive portal.

  • Hotel and café Wi-Fi often uses a captive portal: every page you open shows the login page until you sign in.
