Free public beta until December 4, 2026: every course is open, no card needed. After that, the first chapter of each course stays free and full access is a one-time $39 ($19 for up to 100 founding members chosen for helpful feedback). Your progress is kept. How the beta works

hop

How many new samples arrive between the start of one window and the next.

The hop H is the stride between consecutive windows of length N; the overlap is 1 - H/N, and one feature vector is produced every H samples.

Examples

  • With N = 100 and a hop of 50, windows overlap by 50 % and a new feature vector comes out every 0.5 s.

  • A hop equal to the window length (H = 100) means no overlap: each sample is counted in exactly one window.
