Free public beta until December 4, 2026: every course is open, no card needed. After that, the first chapter of each course stays free and full access is a one-time $39 ($19 for up to 100 founding members chosen for helpful feedback). Your progress is kept. How the beta works

RSSI

How strong the radio signal is, in dBm; closer to 0 is stronger.

RSSI (received signal strength indicator) reports received radio power, usually in dBm (negative numbers, closer to zero is stronger); a weak RSSI predicts dropped packets and disconnects.

Examples

  • 2 m from the router the greenhouse node reads −45 dBm, excellent; 25 m away in the greenhouse it falls to about −75 dBm, only fair.

  • The joining sketch prints RSSI -58 dBm from WiFi.RSSI(), which the rule-of-thumb table rates as a good, reliable link.
