Free public beta until December 4, 2026: every course is open, no card needed. After that, the first chapter of each course stays free and full access is a one-time $39 ($19 for up to 100 founding members chosen for helpful feedback). Your progress is kept. How the beta works

SSID

The name of a Wi-Fi network.

The SSID (service set identifier) is the name an access point advertises; several access points may share one SSID so devices can roam between them.

Examples

  • The home router announces its network name, the SSID, in beacons; the greenhouse sketch joins it with WiFi.begin(WIFI_SSID, WIFI_PASSWORD).

  • A house with a router and an extender has one SSID but two BSSIDs, and the node joins one BSSID at a time.
