Free public beta until December 4, 2026: every course is open, no card needed. After that, the first chapter of each course stays free and full access is a one-time $39 ($19 for up to 100 founding members chosen for helpful feedback). Your progress is kept. How the beta works

subnet

A group of addresses that share the same first part, so they are on the same local network.

A subnet is the set of addresses sharing a network prefix; hosts on the same subnet reach each other directly, and anything else goes through a router.

Examples

  • 192.168.1.37 and 192.168.1.10 share the first 24 bits, so both sit on the subnet 192.168.1.0/24.

  • The /24 subnet 192.168.1.0 holds addresses 192.168.1.0 to 192.168.1.255, 254 of them usable by hosts.
