Free public beta until December 4, 2026: every course is open, no card needed. After that, the first chapter of each course stays free and full access is a one-time $39 ($19 for up to 100 founding members chosen for helpful feedback). Your progress is kept. How the beta works

UUID

A 128-bit ID that names a BLE service or characteristic.

A UUID identifies a GATT service or characteristic; SIG-assigned ones use short 16-bit forms, and custom ones need a randomly generated 128-bit UUID.

Examples

  • The 16-bit 0x181A expands to 0000181A-0000-1000-8000-00805F9B34FB.

  • A product makes its own random 128-bit UUID, like cd681706-bf1b-4e51-be94-aaf6bad0b123, instead of inventing a 16-bit one.
