Fourier sine series

A series representation of a function on [0, L] using only sines of integer multiples of pi*x/L.

The Fourier sine series of f on [0,L] is f(x)\sim\sum_{n=1}^\infty b_n\sin\dfrac{n\pi x}{L}, with b_n=\dfrac2L\displaystyle\int_0^Lf(x)\sin\dfrac{n\pi x}{L}\,dx obtained by projecting f onto each sine using the orthogonality of the sine functions on [0,L].
