mesh network
A network where devices relay each other's messages, so it can reach farther than any one radio.
In a mesh network, routing nodes forward traffic for one another so coverage and resilience grow with the number of nodes.
Examples
In a Thread mesh, a powered plug relays a far sensor's packets toward the border router.
A mesh reaches the far end of a long greenhouse even though no single radio can.
