time series

A list of measurements, each stamped with the time it was taken.

A time series is a sequence of timestamped data points from one source, ordered by time; in IoT each point carries tags that identify the source and fields that hold the measured values.

Examples

  • Every climate reading from gh1/gh-a1/telemetry/climate, each with its timestamp, temp_c and rh_pct, forms one time series for that device.
